The different phases of menopause can lead to fatigue, mood changes and various disorders. She+ Mature & Fit has been formulated to provide all the essential nutrients for the healthy functioning of the body during menopause and post-menopause.
Women can enter the menopausal state, a phase of hormonal change leading to a multitude of physiological changes within the body, from their forties onwards. The menopause is a natural process, the symptoms of which can be alleviated through the consumption of good nutrients.
She+ Mature & Fit is a food supplement offering a non-hormonal approach based on 4 major aims: reduction of fatigue, limitation of weight gain, reduction of joint pain, protection of cells against oxidative stress.
Fatigue is reduced thanks to the intake of arginine, choline and some B vitamins such as B2, B5, B6, B8 and B12. Before and during menopause, the metabolism slows down, which causes weight gain. The latter can be limited by ingredients such as methionine, inositol or carnitine, all involved in the metabolism of lipids and cholesterol. A drop in oestrogen levels during the menopause results in increased sensitivity to pain, especially in the joints. In order to help reduce this joint pain, our formula contains lysine involved in the production of collagen which allows tissue resistance to stretching. Finally, it is important to ensure that you have enough antioxidant compounds in your diet. Indeed, during the menopause phase and with age, the female body’s protection system against oxidative stress decreases. This is why we have included powerful antioxidants in our formula, such as grape seed extract, zinc, copper and manganese.
All our ingredients have been carefully selected to provide the best bioavailability:
- Chromium in the form of picolinate
- Iron, zinc and manganese in the form of bisglycinate which is a soluble and highly bioavailable salt
- Methylated vitamins, for facilitating absorption
She+ Mature & Fit consists of 2 jars: a jar containing a complex of 33 nutrients and a jar containing premium fish oil capsules rich in omega 3 (EPA and DHA). Our fish oil comes from sustainable fishing and is filtered to remove the impurities from marine pollution. It does not need to be mixed with vitamins and minerals to guarantee its stability, purity, effectiveness, and good assimilation.

We have produced an essential supplement to She+ Mature & Fit to avoid the risk of osteoporosis. She+ Calcium is composed of natural marine calcium with the best bioavailability and 3 nutrients that are necessary to restore and regulate calcium in the bone: marine magnesium, natural vitamins D3 (from lichen) and K2 in easily assimilated forms.

Nutritional advice for postmenopausal women
The diet of the mature woman is a complete diet aimed at controlling body weight and meeting the additional nutritional requirements induced by the decrease in hormone production. It focuses on fibre, good proteins and micronutrients:
Calorie intake: The basic metabolism, or the energy expended while resting, decreases by 200 calories per day during the menopause. Therefore, a balanced diet is necessary to ensure effective calorie requirements are covered.
Calcium: Calcium is essential for women: this mineral helps prevent bone loss that can lead to osteoporosis after menopause. Vitamin D is also recommended to optimise calcium absorption. The combination of calcium and vitamin D reduces the risk of fractures due to falls. Dairy products are rich in calcium but some plant sources of calcium are better assimilated. Calcium is found in cabbage, legumes and nuts.
Vitamins D and K facilitate the absorption of calcium. Vitamin D is found in oily fish, such as salmon, mackerel and sardines, as well as in certain dairy products.
Magnesium: Numerous studies have shown the importance of an adequate intake of magnesium during menopause. Due to the hormonal changes caused by menopause, a large part of the magnesium intake is excreted directly by the kidneys. Adequate magnesium supplementation is not only necessary for the prevention of heart disease but also the prevention of osteoporosis. Foods rich in magnesium include wholegrain cereals, almonds, bananas, and dark chocolate. Magnesium-rich mineral water is also recommended.
Antioxidants, including carotenoids, selenium, copper, zinc, vitamins C and E, trap free radicals and reduce menopausal symptoms. Fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidants.
Essential fatty acids are often deficient in our diet although they are essential for good cardiovascular function and have a positive impact against depression. Foods that contain the most essential fatty acids are oily fish (herring, mackerel, tuna and salmon), seafood, and certain vegetable oils such as flaxseed oil.
